There is so much I love about saltwater fishing.  I love the anticipation involved in getting the boat ready, prepping the bait, and the growing anticipation as the crew assembles.  I love the freedom offered as the boat pulls away from the dock and the sights and sounds as a new day dawns over an open ocean. I wrote this in the first blog post I ever did and it's true.  I have been a recreational saltwater enthusiast for more years now than I care to admit.  I love being offshore.

The reality is that no matter what your hobby, you want to be successful.  When it comes to saltwater fishing gear there are a myriad of tools intended to help you succeed, but I felt there was a void when it came to bait presentation.  I have always been very particular about how my baits looked in the water and was never satisfied with what was available on the market. It took too long and too much effort to get natural baits to swim like they should.

I developed TrollTrue Saltwater Fishing Lures to fill a void in my own fishing experience and felt like they were something that could help others better enjoy their saltwater fishing experience as well.  Armed with that initial desire, I hope to grow a community by offering great content and innovative products.
